The Great Lakes Consort is a collaboration of several of the finest chamber ensembles in southeastern Michigan. For ten years, our ensembles have delighted audiences across the metro Detroit area.

- Great Lakes Brass: one of the hottest brass ensembles in the state, providing high quality classical music of all styles.

- Great Lakes Woodwind Quintet: established as one of metro Detroit’s premiere woodwind quintets, they perform a variety of concerts, including educational events.

- Trios, Quartets, and Baroque Ensembles: ensembles combining woodwinds, brass and strings to add a touch of class to any event.

Our groups consist of metro Detroit’s finest professional musicians. Members of the Great Lakes Consort perform regularly with orchestras such as the Detroit Symphony, Michigan Opera Theater, Flint Symphony, Toledo Symphony, Ann Arbor Symphony, and the Kalamazoo Symphony. Educated at prestigious universities and conservatories, our musicians are courteous, professional, and entertaining.
